Nine / the Australian's speculation and assertion shows they couldn't be bothered referring to the QFCI report and its supporting matter.

It's hard to think of a way that the timing errors could be anything other than deliberate. The overlaid stream data traces in QFCI Exhibit 216 tech report do not support the 'lost hour'... a 'lost hour' is just the kind of tabloid meme that gets a click-bait oriented media machine excited and likely to lose concentration. Channel Nine's animation of the flood passing the quarry is pure Hollywood.

And there is nothing in the report commissioned by The Australian to support a claim of wall collapse...so they can't even parse their own 'technical' matter. The report shows no evidence of wholesale wall collapse upstream or down, cannot put a timing to the breaches, and does not even attempt to estimate a possible volume for a quarry lake of known dimensions, or put such an estimate into context with water volumes determined from upstream gauges.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09537772941984056434noreply@blogger.com
